Definitely, Choice Eating's service is a great help for someone like me, who is a vegetarian. I purchased Groupon and upgraded my meal plan to 2000cal 7 days meatless. I love the variety and freshness of their meals. Believe me the price is not at all expensive . I just love the convenience and now I have more time to do other things than prepare my meals.

I have been trying out CE for several weeks now and I am finding I am loving this company more and more. The food is great! When they way variety, they mean variety. I signed up for the Meatless plan and I have to say its the best I've seen when it comes to diets. I'm looking forward to continuing to order with this company.

Yay Choice Eating! I'm a foodie and a nut about freshness and nutrition so expectations were pretty low, but I wanted to reset my body to eat less without having to think or shop. I did a lot of research and all the companies pretty much got dissed overall so the Living Social coupon was great for letting me try it out. Surprisingly, I thought Choice Eating is great and will order again (low carb or meatless) and pay full price! I got a 1 week 1200 cal low fat option, and I wasn't hungry but I did supplement the breakfasts because I think that should be a bigger meal and I exercise a lot. I ate dinner leftovers for breakfast and that worked well. Many of the lunches and dinners had a delicious Middle East/Mediterranean flavor. For the most part they were reasonably healthy and tasty, and always very fresh. The chicken was real chicken breast nicely grilled (as opposed to lunch meat), and the meats tended to be chicken or turkey, as in a very good turkey burger and turkey meatballs. The pastas - nothing special but not bad either. Veggies included the little packaged carrots which I won't eat because of excess processing but I liked the sugar snap peas and the spinach - very fresh and nutritious. Breakfasts weren't great (I dumped most of them due to little nutrition but I'm a low carb person so waffles and pancakes and 1/2 a bagel don't do it for me), but the eggs florentine were superb and the pumpkin bread is awesome. I really like the ethnic and flavorful cooking. The 1200 cal option probably isn't enough food for someone with a high metabolism or significant appetite, but if you want to lose weight this is an excellent way to reset your body. I did a lot of research on food delivery services and Choice Eating seemed like one of the most healthy, and was very cost effective and fresh - many of the others were frozen (for instance, Gobble Green, who literally threatened to sue me because I wanted to cancel an order as opposed to take delivery the following week after they messed up - BEWARE OF GOBBLE GREEN!!). Kudos to Choice Eating customer support - I got a person to answer questions, and the very nice driver called before he came both times. With Gobble Green, you only get emails even when they screw up and refuse to give you a refund.

I am finishing up my 7 days of food delivery with Choice Eating. I bought the Groupon and wasn't sure what to expect. Overall, I've enjoyed to food quality and variety. There isn't much seasoning to the dishes, but that speaks to the healthiness of the dishes. I picked the 1200 cal plan, which helped me with a calorie reduction plan I had started about a month ago. I lost 5 lbs. I can't attribute this all to Choice Eating since I only used it for a week, but it did help me stay on track and not have to think or plan what I was going to cook & eat. I'd definitely use them again. I wish I could request certain dietary restrictions such as no dairy/cheese.

I am so thankful I was introduced to Choice Eating by purchasing Groupon a couple of weeks ago. The service is so convenient and flexible. Definitely an answer to my busy lifestyle. I am on my 3rd week now and will plan to stay for a long time. I love the low sodium , low fat and low cholesterol option. I am also doing this for weight loss. So far I am down by 8 lbs. The food taste so fresh and delicious. It is so healthy. The delivery person was so prompt and polite. Thanks!

I just started with Choice Eating again after a number of years, and find that the selection of food choices have both expanded and improved. I had used another food delivery service off and on, and stopped because the menu changes were unsatisfactory. Before signing up for CE again, I asked about the use of shrimp (I don't eat shellfish), and it is no longer part of the menu. The person I spoke to was very pleasant to talk with in taking my order. I have my food delivered before going to work which is another benefit--delivery time is flexible. I chose the 7 day, low-fat 2000 calorie option at the suggestion of my physician, and it has worked well for me thus far. The meals are generous and flavorful--I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were. There are other options available--vegetarian, low-carb, and high protein. The prices seem steep to me, but if you take into consideration the costs of regularly eating out, or the time it would take to shop, prepare and package meals that have the calorie counting taken care of for you, it is worth it.

As a busy new working mom trying to lose the baby weight - this service has been IDEAL. I am on the 1200 cal low fat plan and LOVE it. It's easy and that I don't have to think about meals when I have to think about 2 kids, a husband and a job, is awesome. I tried Seattle Sutton but I like this one much better. SS was more hospital food like and CE has lots of middle eastern influences, which I love. Not everything is a wild success but 85% of it is delicious. Even my husband, the biggest food snob there is, eats the lunches I don't get to and likes them. The delivery is prompt, the food is fresh and tasty and for about 20 bucks a day - I get all three meals prepared, delivered and measured out to help me lose weight. LOVE this service.

I don't really do Yelp reviews but I've been using this service for a while so... Choice Eating is a meal delivery service. People always ask me, "Like Seattle Sutton?" I don't have a TV so I have no clue what that is but apparently Choice Eating is like that but with a much smaller advertising budget. I get the low-fat low-calorie meal plan and I think there are a couple of reasons this works as a diet. 1.) Variety- Usually when I'm on a diet I buy 10 lbs of chicken breast and a box of salad and eat that for about 3 days until the thought of one more chicken breast makes me sick. Then I order a pizza. You don't have that problem with CE. They only repeat their meals once a month or less and you get all kinds of stuff- from fish to falafel. Some dishes are definitely better than others and there are one or two that I don't care for much but the same is probably true of anything I cook for myself. 2.) Convenience. One major downfall of my past diets has been me being too lazy to wash, chop, saute, etc. a bunch of vegetables after a long day at work and therefore just grabbing some greasy Chinese takeout. And don't even get me started on how infrequently I can usually drag my ass to the grocery store to even have anything at home to procrastinate about cooking. The CE meals, however, are delivered to your door and are literally ready in 2 minutes. Even Lean Cuisine takes longer than that and this food is fresh, not frozen. 3.) Starving kids in Africa guilt. If you feel the urge to skip your healthy lunch and shove down a cheeseburger, you're basically going to have to throw the skipped meal away and you know what your mommy would say about that... 4.) Affordability. While I could probably spend less on food if I cooked for myself all the time, that just doesn't happen. When you consider all I would probably spend on eating out on the weekends and all the times I let the aforementioned chicken breast go bad in the fridege while eating the greasy takeout, I'm probably actually saving money and it's definitely cheaper than, say, Jenny Craig. There are a couple of downsides- the produce has occasionally been a little questionable and the delivery times can be erratic. I can also imagine that this would be less convenient for someone who isn't single or who goes out with friends a lot. So yeah, if you are trying to lose some weight I recommend Choice Eating. It has worked for me for some practical reasons not even necessarily related to nutrition. As they say, the best diet is the one you will stick with and Choice Eating makes that easy.

Been using the food service for 8 weeks. We ordered the meat and vegetable only menu. The meal rotation is great, we never ate the same meal twice. Me and my boyfriend were planing a trip to Las Vegas and Miami and used the service to help us eat healthy and lose weight so we could look good in our beach clothes. We both lost 20 pounds!!! What we like best about the service is how we can come home and grab healthy meal out of the fridge after working our 10 hour gig. Not eating from the menus in the take out drawer for 8 weeks really made the difference. I would recommend this service to anyone who knows what they should be eating but has not had the opportunity to practice it. Choice Eating let us do that, and for a $150 bucks a week it took meal planing and grocery shopping out of our lives.

started using this service in July, 2008. I am very busy and don't like to cook, and have always struggled with eating healthy as well as cutting down on the fortune I pay eating out all the time. This service is perfect for me. I chose the low-carb plan (there are several to choose from), and love that I don't have to worry about groceries or cooking, and know that I am eating healthy, well-balanced meals. Since you don't get to choose your individual meals (just the food plan), you need to be the type of person who isn't too picky. I generally am very happy with each meal (tasty and a lot of variety) although occasionally there will be one I'm not as wild about, but that's a small inconvenience for me given the other benefits. I compared the prices of other meal delivery services, and this one is fairly economical (especially compared to eating out a lot). There is a lot of packaging, so if you are the type that likes to reduce how much waste you produce, make sure your building recycles plastic. All in all, if you hate to cook, hate to buy groceries, are busy, want to eat healthier, aren't super picky about each individual meal, and want to save money eating out, I think that this service is great.

My friend told me about Choice Eating. I have been a subscriber for the last 4 weeks . I am losing weight and loving it so far. It took a while to handle the portion control. I love their variety and flexibility. The delivery is on time and customer service is great! I have just signed up for the next 12 weeks. A lot better than Seattle Sutton's Healthy Eating - fresher food, more variety and alot more flavorful. I would recommend it highly for weight loss, healthy eating and convenience.

I love the convenience of having prepackaged, calorie-controlled meals and low fat, sodium restricted, as well.
